After almost 20 years in the corporate world and successes in the Telecommunications, FMCG, Manufacturing and Information Management industries, Karen decided it was time for greater work/life balance and to follow her passion and dream to inspire, educate and support people to achieve their goals and dreams, thereby living a life she loves and supporting others to do the same.
Since then, Karen has been on a journey of continual personal development, discovery and learning, and enjoys the gift of giving and sharing, so that others may benefit, prosper, enrich their lives and achieve their full potential.
Experience gained working on government funded programs to support people to start their own business, developing business, marketing and operational plans, and providing business mentoring to implement the Business Plan and Action Plan catapulted Karen into supporting fellow business owners to create and build their own empires.
As a professional Coach, Facilitator, Mentor, Speaker and business owner, Karen inspires, supports and empowers individuals and teams to create successful thinking and results, take focussed action for positive outcomes, improve communication, develop better relationships and increase confidence, self-esteem and general well-being.
Karen’s high self awareness and values of honesty, integrity, trust, loyalty and respect enable her to relate to people from all walks of life and a diverse range of people across organisations. A positive attitude, creativity, passion, energy, zest for life, curiosity and inquisitiveness is genuine and radiates to those Karen comes into contact with.
Being a life-long learner and keen to keep up-to-date with issues and challenges facing executives and business owners, Karen regularly attends workshops, courses, business and networking events. Karen is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Toastmasters and various networking organisations.
Community and making a difference is important to Karen and she actively contributes back into the community. Karen is a Committee Member for Kids in Community (www.kic.com.au), a not-for-profit organisation that supports youth and raises awareness of the positive role young people play and the meaningful ways that youth participate in our local communities.
